When you start doing things on your own, it’s addicting.. It is difficult but you crave for more. There are just too many ideas that pop into my head that I have to halt myself realizing that I'm once again losing my focus. Two months.. Yeah, I hear it coming. My stomach flutters and my hands turn cold. I know I have more important things to do.. like scheduling our prenups, submitting our documents, finalizing the menu, etc..

Mom said stick to the less complicated version. But I am persistent. I want a boxed invite since day one. After several consultations, I realized it is exorbitantly expensive to source my boxed invites from printers and invitation suppliers. It’s so beyond our budget. And so on my own, I am pursuing what my heart desires though I know I will once again stay up late for a week or two [or maybe even three].. :((

And today, after months of conceptualization.. We finally picked up our bare boxes! All 150 of them..

Now, if only I could decide whether to spray paint it or to wrap it.. I have to decide very soon.

But for now, just for tonight, i am happy. Things are progressing. Not in a good pace, but at least we’re moving forward.. Wish us luck! :/

The unfortunate shooting incident in Manila City Hall kept me anxious for days that i decided to postpone my visit to pick-up our marriage license. You see on that same day, i was scheduled to drop by that fateful morning but decided otherwise thinking that there will be heavy traffic in the area. My guardian angel must be working full-time that day and spared me from any harm or trouble.. =)

Naturally days after that, the city government belatedly implemented tighter security measures that resulted to longer lines.. Hay, panu ko na kaya makukuha license namin? Guess I just have to wait for a week again..

So after a week, my sis volunteered to claim our license while she’s doing some errands near the city hall.. Yehey, we got to tick one more log on our long checklist! Thanks sis!:)
